Casino Kid NintendoVegas Dreams for Nintendo NES

I’ve always loved playing cards. While my friends were growing up playing super mario brothers and the legend of zelda I was using my nintendo to play casino kid and vegas dreams.

In 2003, I had grown tired of waiting around for once a month get togethers to play penny stakes home poker games with friends and decided to get my feet wet in the world of online poker. I used my mastercard to deposit $100.00 on to partypoker.com and quickly jumped in to a $3/$6 fixed limit texas holdem game. It was new, exciting and I was broke in 5 minutes.

I deposited another $100.00 the following week and quickly lost that too.

I spent the next few days scouring the web for texas holdem strategy articles, poker discussion forums and read everything I came across. Eventually I found a series of sit and go strategy articles that helped me learn all the basics I needed to compete in low stakes poker tournaments as well as how to manage a bank roll.

8 years and millions of hands later I’m still playing.

These days I’m regularly playing online tournaments with buy in up to $109 as well as the occasional Sunday major tournaments up to $215 buy in as well as jetting off to Las Vegas every summer to take part in the World Series of Poker.
